Risk disclosure

Every trade carries risk. This page sets out clearly what can go wrong, so that you decide with full knowledge.

Read this together with the other documents in the footer: all of them make up your agreement with the company identified on the regulatory information page.

General warning

An instrument can lose value as easily as it gains it, and past results are no guide to future ones. Only trade with money you can afford to lose, and never use a trading account in place of savings.

Before opening any position, be sure you understand how leveraged products work: a large share of retail accounts lose money trading them.

Margin and leveraged positions

At up to x200, half a percent against a fully leveraged position is enough to close it — because leverage enlarges losses just as it enlarges gains, and a small move the wrong way can use up all the margin behind a position.

Positions can be closed automatically once the margin ratio is under the platform level, at whatever the price is then — possibly worse than you expected.

Risks specific to crypto

Crypto assets are volatile, trade day and night and can gap hard when liquidity dries up. Ownership of some assets is concentrated, so their prices move faster and further than in traditional markets.

Countries treat crypto assets differently, and those rules can change fast — in ways that may affect deposits, withdrawals and whether an instrument stays available.

Liquidity and market conditions

A stop order does not guarantee the level requested, and when markets move fast an order may fill at a materially different price. Spreads also widen at the open, around news and whenever trading is thin.

Overnight financing is charged on positions kept open through the daily rollover, and it builds up against a position held for a long time.

Systems, connections and operations

Online trading relies on your device, your connection and infrastructure run by third parties. A failure at any of these points can delay or block an order, and we cannot answer for a loss caused by a fault outside our systems.

Keep your login details private and leave multi-factor authentication on. Any order placed from your account with your credentials counts as your own.

Information, not advice

Analysis and market commentary here are general information that ignores your personal circumstances. Neither this site nor the platform gives investment, tax or legal advice, or recommends trading any particular instrument.

If you are not sure a product is right for you, get independent advice before you trade.
